木瓜の生花

木瓜で生花一種いけのお稽古をさせていただきました。
来年一月の生花研究会に向けての予習です。
木瓜はピンク色の花が愛らしいのですが、
独特の枝ぶりを生かして上手にいけるのは大変むずかしい。

今回は細長い花器とのバランスを意識して、全体に縦長になるように枝を選び控えめに撓めました。

木瓜一種いけ…少しずつでも上達出来るよう、毎冬お稽古を欠かさずに！と自分に言い聞かせました。
森先生、熱心なご指導へあらためて感謝申し上げます。

Practiced Shoka isshuike with Japanese quince for a preparation for an intensive Shoka study in January.
Although its flowers in pinkish orange are lovely, it’s very difficult to handle the distinctive characteristics of the branches.
I tried to select the branches for each yakueda to have a best balance with the slender vase and bend them only slightly so that the work would appear to extend upright.
I’ve reminded myself to practice Shoka isshuike with Japanese quince every winter to get improved even if bit by bit.
Mori Sensei’s valuable advices and enthusiastic support provided also for this lesson are much appreciated.
