秋草で交ぜ生のお稽古

今回は交ぜ生をお稽古させていただき。ました。
オミナエシの真副体を前に、
ススキの真副体を後部に挿し口を分けますが、
出来上がると自然に交ざっているように
見えるので不思議です。

黄緑がかった独特の黄色が印象的ですが、
“オミナエシ色”と言う秋を表す色があるそうです。
茎は秋草らしく細く、極小の星形の花がブーケの様に咲くオミナエシに、
涼風を感じさせるススキの葉を添えると、
補完し合って秋の風景が一瓶に。
秋を表現出来るとても素敵な二種生けの変化形です。
残暑厳しい中でも、ご一緒した皆様の作品から涼を感じました。

This time practiced Mazeike with Patrinia scabiosifolia (ominaeshi) and eulalia.
Mazeike is a variation of Shoka Nishuike using designated autumnal grasses and flowers.
Insert a group of Shin, Soe, Tai of eulalia at the rear side, and insert Patrinia’s Shin, Soe, Tai group in front of eulalia group, then when seeing the work, two materials complement each other and look well blended.
I like Patrinia’s particular light greenish yellow, and happen to know that there is a noun called “ominaeshi iro” to express the autumnal yellowish hue.
Excited to see a combination of two materials, one being Patrinia with finer stems unique to autumnal floral/grassy materials and very tiny star-shaped flowers blooming in bouquet, and the other one being gently swaying eulalia leaves, produces the autumnal scenery in one vase.
I could feel a sense of autumn fresh air from other participants’ works, although scorching summer heat remained outside.
