久々の自由花、加工・異質素材を使って

今回は、加工・異質素材を使い、花器も変形のもので自由花のお稽古をしました。

実技の前に加工・異質素材を使った素晴らしい作品集を見せて下さり、私達のやる気スイッチを巧妙に入れて下さいました♪

当初は残り少ないポアテープしか手元に無く戸惑いましたが、他の方々からご好意で分けていただいたワイヤーや葉の端材で工夫しながらの楽しい時間、ある意味脳トレになったかも、です。
他の方達の作品もどれも素敵で、多いに刺激を頂きました。
ご一緒させていただいた皆様、有難うございました。

そして、珍しくも楽しい機会をご提供下さった森先生へ感謝申し上げます。

We were challenged to create free style works using nonorganic (eg, dried, bleached, synthetic, etc.) materials in addition to the live floral ones, and unique shaped vases in lieu of basic ones we usually use.
Sensei showed us a book of great free style artworks using such materials before setting about, that became the trigger of fun switch for us.
A bit baffled as I had only 3/4 used polyethylene tape in hand, but thanks to my classmates who kindly spared me some wires and leaf, I was able to create two works and indeed the lesson has been enjoyable.  Even might have been a brain training in a way.
Meantime, got inspired by classmates’ elegant/stylish/lovely works, and grateful to them for learning together on this occasion.
Also to Mori Sensei, thank you for providing such a rare yet enjoyable lesson.
