お洒落なヒマワリで立花のお稽古

外は猛暑でしたが、エアコンの効いた教室でヒマワリ(黄色と茶色の二色の花びらがお洒落！)の立花のお稽古をいたしました。

ヒマワリはキク科と知りチョットびっくり。
今回のお稽古では、花の向きを調整するためのワイヤー使い、タニワタリのワイヤー使いなど、新たな学びもありました。

この日はお稽古終了時間がいつもより早いことを当日朝知ったのですが、時間的なチャレンジも出来て却って良い経験となりました。

速さと丁寧さをより意識して立花のお稽古を重ねたいと思います。

Although scorching hot outside, practiced Rikka with sunflower (very stylish with yellow and brown bicolored petals!) in an air-conditioned classroom.
A bit surprised to know that the sunflower is a member of chrysanthemum family.
Learned more wiring techniques, eg, how to apply wires to set the direction of the flowers as desired, and how to apply these to bird’s nest fern for Nagashi, etc.
Meantime, noticed just before the lesson that we had to finish a few hours earlier than usual due to Sensei’s another appointment.
But this time constraint has actually been a good experience to me.
I’d like to continue practicing Rikka keeping speed and carefulness further in mind.
