花材を自分で選ぶ　立花新風体🍀

立花新風体…花材を自分で選ぶ！

今回は花材を自分で選ぶことから実技が始まりました。
立花新風体には沢山の花材が必要ですが、自分で選べるか最初は不安でした。
花のコーナーではなく、あえて枝物のコーナーへ向かうと、長〜い細枝を持ったレンギョウに目が止まり、これを主に選びました。

そして、素敵な紫色のカーネーションとの出会いがあり、薄いピンクのラナンキュラス、アンスリウム、ニゲラ、と、まるでレンギョウが招いてくれたように上段の花材達が集まりました。
下段も芍薬、ピンポンマム、ヒペリカムなど、思ったより悩まずに決められホッとしました。

レンギョウとカーネーションの取り合わせ、他の花材達との出会い、これらの感動を一瓶に込められたかな…

I was half thrilled and half anxious this time, as I had an opportunity to select floral materials (a wide variety of, not a few) by myself for Rikka shimpu-tai, although it was just the third time for me to practice this style.
Headed for the woody materials section instead of flower section, then met a Forsythia with a fine looong curve twig, and decided to make it today’s lead.
Then met chic purple Carnation, then pale pink Ranunculus, Anthrium, Nigella.
Seemed Forsythia branch invited them to complement the upper section of my work.
For the lower section as well, I was able to select the materials quite smoothly.
Was I able to express the joy of encounter with these materials, especially a combination of Forsythia and Carnation, in one vase? … hopefully …
