旧七夕会2022
今年の旧七夕会では格別に濃い時間を過ごしました。
土曜(11/12)には、青年部発足30周年記念特別講座で、森部特命教授のご講義と実演を拝聴、拝見させて頂きました。
温かい励ましのこもったお話と、1時間で5作品を素早く仕上げてしまう見事さへ、出席者から盛大な拍手が送られました。
日曜は見学会、秋の色合いのお着物姿の森先生が会場をご案内下さいました。
道場席ではお家元を始め重鎮の教授方の作品に圧倒されますが、数ヶ所のアルコーブに飾られた愛らしいお迎え花にホッと緊張が解ける感じです。
本館会場へ移動し、8階で森部特命教授の立花を拝見。作品の右前の月に見立てた照明の演出も素敵でした。
その後、我らの森先生と太田さんの作品を拝見。
古典的な花材(大きな鶏頭)を使いながら現代的な森先生の立花新風体、
黄ばんだ葉で秋をカッコ良く表現された太田さんの立花正風体、
素晴らしい作品を誇らしい思いで拝見させて頂きました。
そしてWEST18ビルの特別コーナーでは、
暗めの室内に工夫を凝らして展示された自由花作品にときめきました。
まるで宝石展の様に、ガラスケースに入っていたり、円柱状の台に置いて下から照らされていたり…
今回のテーマ“とらわれのない美”に相応しく、
新しい感覚を纏った美しい自由花作品に感動しました。
森先生、ご一緒させて頂いた皆様、有難うございました。

I had a weekend full of excitement at 2022 Ikenobo Autumn Tanabata Exhibition.
On Sat. 12th, there was a special lecture by prof. Moribe commemorating Youth Group’s 30th anniversary. In just one hour, prof. Moribe swiftly completed five arrangements while giving a lecture with warm encouragements, and the hall resounded with the applause of attenders.
On Sun., Mori Sensei in beautiful kimono with autumnal hues kindly guided the venue.
At the Iemoto Dojo, overwhelmed by the great works of the headmaster and high-ranking professors, but could feel relaxed when seeing lovely welcoming flowers placed at several alcoves.
Then at the HQ bldg., Mori Sensei led us to 8F to show prof. Moribe’s magnificent Rikka arrangement. A lighting to show a full moon-like circle on the base has been admirable.
Proceeding downstairs, proudly saw our revered Mori Sensei’s Rikka shimpu-tai (classical big-sized cockscombs but contemporarily arranged) and Ota san’s Rikka (yellow shaded leaves stylishly arranged).
At WEST 18 bldg., very impressed not only by so many remarkable free style arrangements, but also by the way of display, some placed in glass cases, some others on the podiums and lit up, etc, in the dimly lit room, like some jewellery exhibitions, embodying the unconstrained beauty which is the theme of the exhibition.
Very grateful to Mori Sensei for showing us around, and to everyone in the group, it’s been enjoyable together, thank you.
